Child Benefit and Single-Parent Family Benefit
The Ministry of Labour, Welfare, and Social Insurance offers various allowances and benefits to support families and individuals in Cyprus. One of these is the Child Allowance, which is given to families residing in the country and is valid for children and young adults.
Amount of Child Benefit
The amount of Child Benefit and Single-Parent Family Benefit depends on certain factors. The following tables provide an overview:
- Child Benefit:
- First child: €175.10 per month
- Second child: €134.30 per month
- Third child: €111.60 per month
- Fourth child and subsequent children: €95.50 per month
- Single-Parent Family Benefit:
- One child: €262.65 per month
- Two children: €393.98 per month
- Three children: €525.30 per month
- Four children: €656.63 per month
- Five children and subsequent children: €787.95 per month
To apply for Child Benefit or Single-Parent Family Benefit, eligible families can contact the Social Insurance Fund.
