Philadelphia Overcomes Ankle Injury to Win Game 3

The Philadelphia 76ers pulled out a hard-fought overtime victory over the New York Knicks in Game 3 of their playoff series on Friday night. Led by James Harden, who scored 31 points and dished out 16 assists, the Sixers overcame an early deficit to win 112-108 in overtime.

The win was especially impressive considering that star center Joel Embiid was nursing a sore ankle that had kept him out of Game 2. Embiid played 40 minutes and finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds, but it was Harden who took over the game in the second half and overtime.

The Knicks had a chance to win the game in regulation, but Jalen Brunson's potential game-winning shot bounced off the rim at the buzzer. In overtime, the Sixers took control of the game and never looked back, thanks to some clutch plays from Harden and Tyrese Maxey.

The series is now tied 2-1, with Game 4 set for Sunday in Philadelphia.
